Books borrowed from our Sora (OverDrive) collection can be checked out for a period of 14 days. They will automatically disappear from your device or computer on the due date. If the book is not put on 'hold', you can renew it for an additional 14 days.
From the "home" tab, click on 'find a book' or click the 'explore' tab and browse the curated collections on the home page (hint: if you want a book NOW, scroll down to our collection 'currently available')
Once you have found a book that you like, click 'borrow'. The book will then start to download onto your device.
When it is finished downloading, click on the cover to start reading!
To insert a bookmark to mark your spot, swipe up on your tablet or phone, or click the upper right of the screen if reading from a web browser. For audiobooks, simply pause the recording.
IMPORTANT: If you are finished early, go to the bookshelf and click 'return'. You can even rank the book with a thumbs up or down and right a review!
