There are a number of different resources available within the board to promote diversity and inclusion. Your Learning Commons Informationist will be able to show you physical material in the Learning Commons both in your school and in other UCDSB Learning Commons.
You can also search the Destiny catalogue yourself for materials appropriate to your age group. Whether you are looking for picture books for a young audience, older fiction normalizing non traditional lifestyles or non-fiction materials for a variety of audiences, materials are available within the Board. Access Destiny through Insite by selecting "I need to..." Destiny can be searched by title, author and subject.
The Virtual Learning Commons also has a great online resource with videos, databases and a variety of other resources available under the tab ''Student Life."
