There are a number of websites and databases there that could be of assistance.  I am in the process of working on the Renewable resources section so as to provide more information on each specific area.  For now, check out the site provided under the general tab in that box - Renewable Energy World.com

  1. As an alternative to searching with Google, the VLC has a "Games and Databases" tab which will provide you with a list of trusted databases of information. You can narrow down the databases to those with resources more specific to "solar energy", by clicking on the "subjects" drop-down menu and selecting either Grade 9 Science or Grade 9 Geography (try them both). Start searching the databases using Solar energy as your keyword.
