I can't give you the answer but I will give you a hint:

Take a look at the relationship between the two sets of numbers that you are given:

12 and 6

6 and 3

What mathematical process do you have to do to 12 to get 6?  Does the same thing apply to 6 and 3?

If yes, if you applied the same action to 10 you would get "?"

Other examples could be 4 and 2; 8 and 4; 14 and 7
