The VLC Games and Databases contains access links to both licensed and non-licensed sites that provide reliable and curated resource information. Upper Canada District School Board (UCDSB)-licensed resources, indicated by the lock icon, are password-protected.
Teacher and Student Master Password lists are available from the school Learning Commons Informationists and/or can be requested through the VLC Ask Us/Demande Moi feature. Student passwords are also available in a bookmark format. Staff may request and share the student master password list with their students and parents. Teacher lists have additional sites that are specifically for staff use (eg. Learn360).
Due to licensing policies, password lists are for UCDSB use only and must not be shared outside of the Board. Other school boards and the general public are welcome to use any sites that are not password-protected. In addition, non-UCDSB boards may also have their own password access to some of these sites.
