Although I cannot give you the direct answer I can make a few suggestions as to how to approach questions such as the one you submitted.

Your best sources for clarification is your teacher, classroom support and your peers. Math works best when you are working with others on the same problem. 

There are also specific resources on the internet that can guide you through the process. If your school library has a math subject guide for your grade that would be a great start. Check with your school if they have other web based resources that can reviewed at your own pace. Also there are sites such as Khan Academy and IXL that offer additional help. The links are listed.
