I did a search in Gale in Context. I searched "language in ancient Egypt". It came up with some great links & articles.
Language in ancient Egypt - At this link, I recommend looking at all three links under "Book Links". The Magazine links are also pretty interesting. You can learn about the "Rosetta Stone" and some different words in Egyptian.
I found this fun National Geographic Kids site, where you can learn more about hieroglyphics and maybe try spelling your name!
